Join us for a special weekend harmonium & kirtan training from visiting harmonium instructor, Seth Lieberman. This weekend-long immersive workshop is intended for beginner to intermediate levels of harmonium playing, focused on a western style of music playing.
You’ll take your understanding of music theory and harmonium playing techniques to the next level and learn how to write your own music by taking a closer look at how melodies are composed, how chords are used to support a melody line, and how to create your own melodies and chord accompaniment.
During this immersive weekend, you will learn how to play harmonium and kartals, lead kirtan with confidence and develop a more personal relationship to the art of kirtan itself by diving into its deeper layers as a spiritual practice.
