Description
This one-of-a-kind musical and spiritual immersion at the beautiful Govardhan EcoVillage, led by Seth Lieberman and Raghunath Cappo, is designed for kirtan enthusiasts, yoga teachers and anyone who wants to enrich their lives and the lives of others through bhakti yoga, music, and mantra. This training is open to all levels of experience, including beginners.
The daily schedule will include kirtan and asana in the mornings, two intensive kirtan practices and workshops during the day, and evening satsangs and storytelling with Raghunath in the evening. There will also be special talks by H.H. Radhanath Swami.

How to play harmonium, beginner level and beyond
The basics of kartalas (hand cymbals) and rhythm
Music theory and musicianship as applied to kirtan
How to lead, structure, and build a kirtan
How to sing with greater ease and freedom
The history, philosophy, and methodologies of kirtan
How to integrate kirtan into your yoga classes
You will also learn several beautiful mantra melodies, chords, and music that you can use in your personal practice and in sharing kirtan with others.
Beyond the kirtan and music training, there will be lots of storytelling, delicious prasad (spiritual food), and a chance for you to connect with other like-minded spiritualists in an incredible, idyllic environment.
In essence, Raghunath and Seth will help you go deeper into your bhakti practice through skills and experiences that will facilitate a greater understanding, appreciation, and absorption in the practice of kirtan.

Tuition includes:
Bus ride to Eco Village from the The LaLiT Mumbai hotel January 3rd (students must arrive on exact day, otherwise a taxi can be arranged for approx. $75 USD)
Accommodations at Govardhan Eco Village, in dorm-style single private rooms and shared cottages; simple, natural, green accommodations.

Seth Lieberman
Seth Lieberman is a musician and yoga teacher residing in the Hudson Valley of New York. A lifelong music maker, he studied music composition, theory, clarinet, and piano at the University of Maryland, where he received BA in Music. During his 10 years of time living in Brooklyn, NY, he completed 3 different yoga teacher trainings. Seth has joined his two passions of music and yoga through playing and teaching the harmonium, leading kirtan, and creating original music related to mantra and yoga. He has been actively teaching harmonium both online and in-person for the past 8 years and has helped bring the joy of mantra and music to many students throughout the world.
